At Anthem you’ll find a group of real people, learning to follow Jesus together. We believe everyone is welcome to explore the good life Jesus so frequently teaches about.

What's New
Hey Anthem!
Happy first week of school! I've been preparing the final message in Romans for this coming Sunday and I have been so encouraged this week when I look back on our time in Romans. God has used it to shape the gospel deeply in who we are and how we think. I hope that over the course of the time in Romans that the formation of what we believe and how we think about the world around us has taken root and is bearing fruit in your life. God has much to do in you and me and He is ready to go to work on us when we give ourselves to Him. This Sunday will be week 2 of our Community Group sign ups and we'll be getting a report from a friend in Nepal (postponed from last week due to the hurriquake). I am seriously looking forward to worshiping with you on Sunday and can't wait to see how God continues to move and shape us in the months ahead! See you soon!

End of summer bbq
Our end of summer barbecue is this Sunday (Aug 27th)! We love growing in our relationships with the Anthem church body and what better way to do that than over good food and sunshine.
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and join us for lunch after the 11am gathering. If you come to the 9am gathering, come back at 12:30. Hot dogs and burgers will be provided and we’re asking everyone to help with all the sides. Use link below to sign up to bring one to the needed items and/or to help make the day happen, and to let us know how many are coming.

So cal Collective
oct 18-21
This October, the Genesis Collective will be gathering leaders from throughout southern California, across the nation and from a few other countries at our annual gathering called the SoCal Collective. We (Anthem Church) have raised our hand to host the SoCal Collective this year! That translates to a few different things that we'd like to throw your direction... First, we would love for you to be a part of the SoCal Collective! Sometimes when these gatherings happen, they are far away or difficult to get to... This one is in our hometown! If you can make it, we would love to have you register and be a part of this gathering. There will be some amazing worship times, challenging teaching that lifts our eyes to the nations, and some great people to meet. Second, if you have a home that would be willing to host people from out of town, we would love to create a way for our traveling friends to keep their costs down and stay with people from our church! We are looking for people who have a room (ideally with a bathroom available) who would be willing to create a comfortable and useable space for our friends for a few days. And lastly, during the actual Collective, we will be looking for some people to help throughout the week. If you've got the ability to give a few hours or a few days, we would be so grateful! Links for all three available below. Thanks for being willing to join us on this journey!
Livestream Update
Hey Anthem, we wanted to update you on some changes that our elder team is making regarding the Livestream. We started the Livestream in Covid to create a way for people to stay connected to Anthem in the midst of a difficult and confusing time. That being said, it was not our long term vision to have “online church” as we have a high view of the importance of gathering together in person and contributing our gifts to one another as the church. Starting in September we will be moving to a format where we livestream the sermon only of the 9AM gathering (starting at approximately 9:15 each Sunday) and then will post the audio/video to the podcast stream on Monday morning. We want to continue to provide a way to stay engaged in our message series' if you aren't able to join us for a Sunday. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Baptisms are a celebration of new life, a celebration of the finished work of Jesus Christ, and a public declaration of the work of the Spirit in our lives. For those who call themselves a Christian, and have not yet been baptized, we'd love to chat with you.

One of the biggest joys we have as a church is seeing parents choose to commit to raise their children in a way that points them to their loving Savior Jesus, and helping them find their way back to God in their homes.
